A St. Mary's education is first and foremost based on Christian values and the Scriptures, traditions, and teachings of the Catholic Church.  Students learn and live the faith in many ways:

• daily prayer in classrooms
• daily community prayer at morning assembly led by Student Leadership Council (elected eighth grade student leaders)
• Mass at noon Mondays and on Holy Days of Obligation
• service projects by each class and schoolwide
• school "family" and buddy activities that partner primary age students with middle school role models
• devotions and celebrations throughout the church's liturgical year
