Mrs. Barbara Valenta

ValentaEighth Grade and Middle School Religion teacher

Mrs. Valenta has the unique claim of being a graduate of St. Mary of the Assumption School! A resident of Santa Maria since 1959, she continued her education at Santa Maria High School and Allan Hancock College before continuing at the University of San Diego, Alcala Park, and completing her Bachelors degree at Chapman University, where she earned her bachelors degree and California multiple subject teaching credential. In addition to her love of teaching, Mrs. Valenta loves to learn! She has earned a Certificate of Catechetical Ministry from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. She serves the Church as a Eucharistic Minister and singer.
